How to make a pumpkin chai smoothie
All you need for this smoothie is the following ingredients:
- Pumpkin puree
- Almond Milk
- Banana
- Vanilla extract
- Warming spices, including cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger powder
- Pitted date, optional
- Handful of ice
Once you're ready to make your pumpkin chai smoothie, combine all the ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Frequently asked questions
Can I add protein to this smoothie? Yes! Add a serving of protein powder. Unflavored and vanilla protein work best. If you eat dairy, another great option is a serving of Greek yogurt for an additional boost of protein.
How do I turn this into a smoothie bowl? Use less liquid to turn this smoothie into a smoothie bowl. Be sure to freeze everything, including the almond milk in an ice cube tray for a thick smoothie. It's also best to use a high-speed blender.
Can I make this smoothie in advance? Yes, you can make it the night before. However, it tastes the best when you consume it soon after making it.
Can I use another kind of milk? Yes, any milk tastes great in this smoothie! I went with almond milk just because it has a more neutral date, but oat milk, cashew milk, coconut milk, and hemp milk are other great options!
